Will you ever pause to admire the sunsets with me?
take a long walk just down the road
or talk late into the moonlit nights
not elaborate, but little moments of kindness
that maketh a thousand memories,
memories, that I wish to etch onto my soul when I sleep deep, forever and ever
those that we will remember in our rainy days,
when the silver of the hair strikes
and the bones are fragile,
Our heart will then regale and rejoice in the memories of yore, of love that echoes at the core.
take a look at the moment, the warmth of the pleasant winter sun,
the first kiss of monsoon on the bare earth,
the dark cloudy sky with yearnings of a shower
the summer nights with promise of pleasant breeze calling for endless conversations till the dawn,
beyond the mundane and humdrum of the rigor, awaits a world of your own
where you seize the moment and call it yours,
where soulful renditions of oneness echo,
where a warm coffee and ordinary conversations outpour togetherness
where souls just know each other and
where the aching fire in heart turns to passion
where the burning desire wraps you in tender warmth,
where just a few clandestine meetings and momentary getaways
are all that makes it worthwhile,
like a light entering the meadows by the stream, where one sun-kissed morning you wake up with a dear one, with sprinkles of water gurgling nearby that tickle you deep down the soul.
