The idea of focussing your focus
Do you even realise that you are responsible for the way your life looks like right now? The whole of it. Now, don’t give me those looks. What I am saying is true but we do not believe it and are likely to blame circumstances, situations, and people around us when things don’t go our desired way.
What you think about, talk about, and give your attention to all eventually comes back to you.
This is a universal law of nature and is known as Law of Attraction. It's the same as gravity, which means it works whether you know it or not! The law of attraction is also often called "The Secret" because it's so powerful.
It has been scientifically proven that happy and positive people are more likely to attract success into their lives. This is because they're sending out positive energy and attracting positive people into their lives.

Your thoughts become your reality. Be really mindful of what you think, say, or speak.
Let me tell you a story.
A woman was diagnosed with cervical cancer and she decided with a very firm belief that she is going to treat herself. She developed a self-help program including a positive mindset, self-belief, affirmations, visualizations armed with the right nutrition. Within six months she was completely healed from cancer. She went on to assist hundreds and millions of people thereafter, writing the best-selling book (in 1980 that still tops the charts) “You Can Heal Your Life” and as they say the rest is history. Yes she is none other than Louis Hay who belied that our thoughts become our beliefs and they are responsible for our emotional and physical problems. Using the same thoughts we could cure ourselves of all these maladies.
It is not enough to just think about what you want and wish for it. You have to take action and believe in your mind that this is going to happen. You have to visualize yourself already having what you want, feeling it and living it as if it has already happened.
The Power of Positive Thoughts
Positive thoughts can become your reality. Whatever you think about will come to pass, and it is the power of our thoughts that make things happen in our lives. We need to focus on what we want and not what we don't want.
Ways to build a positive mindset through positive thoughts:
1. It begins with letting go of your negative thoughts first. You have to declutter your mind and make space for positive thoughts to grow and develop. Observe, note down and go through all your negative thoughts and emotions.
2. Then neutralize your thoughts from negative to neutral and moving a step further from neutral to positive. For example, you are late to a presentation and were embarrassed when the manager told you to be on time in front of everyone. Now instead of thinking that I am always late, could you think that I need better skills at managing time? Once you are more skillful at your time then things would ease for you and you would get positive results.
3. Count your blessings. It could be the smallest of thing like getting to have a cup of coffee in peace to someone calling you up and asking you how’s your day? When you are grateful for what you already possess you focus on what you have rather than what isn’t there.
4. Observe your thoughts and question yourself what is it you are thinking or focusing on each day.
5. Stick to thoughts that support whatever is it that you wish to create. Having thoughts that are favourable for you would help you create your desired reality.
Final Thoughts
We can create our lives the way we desire by choosing to be grateful for what we already have and being aware of the resources that are available to us. Try doing it for a few days and you’d be surprised at your capability to tweak your life the way you wish to. Good luck!
